Jaiku was so much better than Twitter in every way (threaded conversations, anyone?). And yet Twitter/X became the app everyone used. I think about how different life would be if Jaiku would have been the app everyone used or if Twitter wouldn’t have transitioned to the algorithmic feed. Sigh.
